My Philosophy

Art offers us something increasingly rare: a moment to pause.

In a world that asks us to move faster, consume more, and pay attention to everything at once, I create paintings that invite stillness - an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the beauty, vulnerability, and complexity of being human, and the pleasure and privilege of being alive.

A personal note...

My work is rooted in a long-standing interest in presence, memory, and emotional experience.

Before finding painting, I worked across fashion and design in Milan, where I explored form, composition, and material expression in a different language.

Over time, I found myself drawn back to art - and to the human figure - as a way of exploring emotional depth more directly. Painting became the place where lived experience and reflection could meet.

These works begin in presence because life itself is fragile and easily overlooked.
